BSOD Bad_Pool_Header
After a cold boot I was able to boot up the disk and got as far as trying to 're-install' in the current directories, but very shortly after beginning that process the BSOD was again on my screen. Now, I get only as far as the first keypress, shortly after boot up, where I am asked to press Enter to install W2K.

thing is that the BSOD message was clear... no driver.sys name and address... just message and boom. Its not an IDE problem (SCSI raid only). Part of the process will be to load your driver, which calls DriverEntry, AddDevice, etc. The install sample uses UpdateDriverForPlugAndPlayDevices

That's the floppy disk driver, but I don't think that's relevant as 0xc0000221 and 0xc000026c are checksum errors. Could be a dead-cell memory fault, HD with undetected bad sectors, damaged HD cable, IDE conflict or maybe a bad install CD (relatively unlikely). -- John Jordan.
